We could not be PRODUER to announce, that on July 10th at Evolution London, Goldsworthy's Hairdressing won THREE AWARDS at the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final!!
The Grand Final spanning over 5 hours showcased an incredible 175 live models walking the runway, three live hair shows and an evening of awards and celebrations for the successful applicants.
A group of Goldsworthy employees went along to support the finalists, of which included:
Jess Larrad - Afro Award Category
Charlotte Luce - Colour Trophy Award Category
Oli Berwick - Colour Trophy Award Category
Lucy Boodell - Star Award Category
The evening was incredibly inspiring and we had such a brilliant night!
The first award of the evening was for the AFRO AWARD category. With only 12 competitors chosen as finalists across the whole of the United Kingdom, our very own Jess Larrad WON THE WHOLE CATEGORY! Jess was announced as First Place and we could not be more thrilled for her and all of the hard work that she put into her entry and winning look!
Jess will now be invited to the 'Winners Shoot' across three days where L'Oréal
Professional will invite her and her beautiful model Ri, to join them in London for three days to photograph her winning look in their collection with the other winners from the night. This trip will also include group dinners, education sessions and inspiration days to reward the winners for their hard work.
The next award announced on the night was for the COLOUR TROPHY AWARD category. Classed as the 'main' category at Colour Trophy, this is such a large category that it is divided into Regions, giving competitors two opportunities to win on the night, one for winning their region, and then the overall winners which they announce as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Goldsworthy's Hairdressing falls under the WESTERN REGION and we are so proud to announce that Cirencester Senior Stylist Charlotte Luce WON THE REGION!
We then had a short wait until they announced the overall winners of the competition. All of the 12 Regional Winners are the top runners for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Well we are even more thrilled to announce that Charlotte Luce WON 3rd PLACE OVERALL NATIONALLY!!
This event is the first hairdressing competition that Charlotte has ever entered and we are so pleased with the results and her success, she has worked really hard in the lead up to this competition and it paid off!!
The entire event has inspired the team as a whole and given a great boost for us all! We cannot wait for next years competition!!
