Behind the scenes of Chromacre : Goldsworthy's Team dazzles at HAIRCON Manchester

The Haircon event in Manchester on June 22nd and 23rd brought together some of the most talented names in hair artistry. Among the highlights was the Goldsworthys team, who took the mainstage by storm with their show called Chromacre. Led by Josh Goldsworthy and Sophie-Rose Goldsworthy, with support from Phoebe Dean, Tara Eustace, and Lewis Dunn, the team created six stunning looks using four models. Their collaboration with L’Oréal, where they served as guest artists, made this showcase a memorable moment for attendees and the hair industry alike.

The Vision Behind Chromacre

The concept of Chromacre was to explore the power of colour in hair design. The Goldsworthys team wanted to push boundaries and demonstrate how colour could transform not just hair but the entire look and mood of a model.

Josh and Sophie-Rose Goldsworthy envisioned a show that would be both artistic and accessible, inspiring hairstylists and enthusiasts alike.

Team Dynamics and Roles

The success of the Chromacre show was a result of seamless teamwork. Josh and Sophie-Rose took the lead in designing the looks and directing the overall flow of the presentation. Their experience and creative vision set the tone for the entire performance.

Phoebe Dean, Tara Eustace, and Lewis Dunn played crucial roles in bringing the designs to life. They assisted with styling, model preparation and assisted on stage. Each team member brought unique skills and energy, ensuring the process was smooth and efficient under the pressure of a live audience.

This collaboration demonstrated the importance of trust and communication in a high-stakes environment. The team’s ability to work together allowed them to complete six complex looks on four models within the limited time on stage.

Collaboration with L’Oréal

Being guest artists for L’Oréal added an extra layer of prestige and responsibility to the Goldsworthy's team’s performance. L’Oréal’s products and colour ranges provided the tools needed to achieve the vibrant and lasting results seen on stage.

The partnership allowed the team to showcase not only their creativity but also the quality and versatility of L’Oréal’s professional hair colour products. This collaboration highlighted how the right products can enhance artistic vision and technical execution.

Impact on the Hair Industry

The Chromacre show was more than just a performance; it was a source of inspiration for hairstylists and creatives. By demonstrating innovative colour techniques and bold styling choices, the Goldsworthy's team encouraged others to experiment and push their own boundaries.

What’s Next for the Goldsworthy's Team?

Following the success at Haircon Manchester, the Goldsworthy's team plans to continue exploring new creative projects and collaborations. Their work with L’Oréal opens doors for further guest artist opportunities and educational events.

The Goldsworthy's team shows that with skill, vision, and teamwork, it’s possible to create looks that captivate and inspire.
