The Salon Stylist of the Year 2019 Award Goes To… Josh Goldsworthy
Massive congratulations to Josh Goldsworthy who picked up one of the most coveted awards in UK hairdressing, winning Salon Stylist of the Year at the HJ British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019.
He beat hundreds of other contenders after demonstrating his amazing hairdressing skills alongside his ability to retain current clients, attract new clients, help clients with their hair needs and inspire others to be the best.
The HJ British Hairdressing Business Awards brought together the elite business minds of the hairdressing industry. It was an awe-inspiring night, hosted by Vernon Kay alongside Hairdressers Journal International’s executive director Jayne Lewis-Orr.
Jayne said: “2019 has been an extremely challenging year for the British high street but the British Hairdressing Business Awards demonstrate that hair salons are continuing to go from strength to strength and remain at the heart of the community. This year’s winners have shown that with some creative thinking, clever marketing and the use of social media you can continue to drive clients into the salon and boost your business.”
This prestigious award follows hot on the heels of Josh winning Ultimate Stylist at the 2019 Salon Business Awards. His talent has been on the rise since 2016 when Josh was named the IT Guy at the Creative Head Most Wanted awards and made it onto The It List Awards which celebrates the hottest new emerging talent in UK hairdressing.
Goldsworthy Hairdressing were also named as finalists in the Educator of the Year category and Vicky Stanley from Goldsworthy’s Hairdressing in Cirencester made it to the final five in the Franchisee of the Year category.
