Top Trend for Blunt, Textured Bobs
The bob is a hair style which will never go out of fashion, but in 2019 we are expecting to see many more blunt-edged, textured bob haircuts which will sit midway between the ears and nape of the neck (although the length can be varied to suit you). Curl your hair with a styling wand to give va-va-volume and texture to your bob hair cut! The bob is back with a bang and will be a thicker, fuller and more fierce hair style than ever before!
Be On-Trend in 2019 with a Short Cropped Hair Cut
Super short cropped hair styles look set to be a huge trend in 2019. Get the sides cropped quite closely, leaving the style longer on the top, you can curl the top with light finger curls or muss it up using texturizing spray to add a punky edge to the hair style. Short, geometric hair cuts are also looking to be a big trend this year if you’re not quite ready for a big chop!
Try a Pastel Hair Colour in 2019
Lilac hair colour is still immensely popular and was the most searched for pastel hair colour shade in 2018. Pastel hair colour tones are ideal for clients who want a hair colour that will fade gradually each time it is washed. We can create a range of striking colours, soft shimmering shades and pastel tones as well as vibrant shades – pastel hair colours can work for clients of all ages and professions, speak with your Goldsworthy’s colour expert about which shade would be perfect for you.
Coral Hair Colour Trend for 2019
Hair colours have never been so interesting as they are now and we expect to see many more clients experimenting with their hair colour this year. Intense hair colours such as purples, pinks, coral red tones and silver blues were seen on the catwalks at New York & London Fashion Weeks, but it is the vivid red-toned coral hair colour that will be our favourite in 2019.
Balayage, Root Shadowing & Root Stretching
Balayage continues to be the most popular hair colouring technique for clients who want a natural looking hair colour that is quite low maintenance. We can ‘stretch’ the roots of your hair, painting multi-dimensional shades, growing lighter towards the ends of your hair for an on-trend balayage hair style.
Natural looking brunette shades and face-framing caramel highlights will also be popular this year, using hair colour tones that compliment your base colour.
Please note: If you are new to hair colour, please book in for a skin test 48 hours prior to your hair colour appointment.
Super Stylish Fringes
Whilst longer sweeping side fringes will remain incredibly popular in 2019, we also expect to see more women asking for super stylish full fringes which are cut to a centimetre above your brows – short and blunt. Add volume to the crown of your hair to provide the perfect backdrop for your new fashionable fringe!
Wavy Hairstyles for 2019
We predict there will be a move away this year from perfect curled hair styles to more relaxed, textured and tousled wavy hairstyles. Think textured waves after a long day at the beach, blonde highlights optional!
